Physical intelligence and its relationship between outstanding academic performance in physical education and sports among fourth-year intermediate students

Abstract

The current study aimed to identify the extent of the relationship between physical intelligence and the level of outstanding academic performance in physical education and sports among fourth-year middle school students. The appropriate descriptive approach was used for the study. The study sample consisted of 164 male and female students. The researcher's physical intelligence scale was used by a group of researchers and its psychometric properties were calculated, which proved the validity of its application once and for all.

The results showed that there are a weak correlation between physical intelligence and outstanding academic performance, and revealed a low level of physical intelligence according to the total score and dimensions. and confirmed the differences between the sexes (males/females) in physical intelligence according to the total score and dimensions, with the exception of the dimension of “balance in movement”.
