Despite the great impact that the inherited cultural heritage has had on the Algerian family, it has become trapped in library shelves and forgotten due to the impact of technology, its advanced devices, and multiple virtual means of communication on both the child and his parent. Which created many relational and communicative problems, and even deeper - than that - many psychological problems and disturbed behaviors: a fragility of the ego and self-concept, weak self-esteem, a shaky body image, and a deficiency in verbal expression... I found several facilitations for approaching the research topic, among which the objectives include discovering the role of sports psychology in tournaments and highlighting the coach's psychological preparation in enhancing the performance of rowers during competitions. The aim was to understand how psychological preparation impacts the performance level of rowers during competition.

After delving into this research, we reached several conclusions. The correlation coefficient was estimated at 0.71, which is a positive value. Thus, it indicates there is a significant positive correlation between psychological preparation and athletic performance among rowers at the Algerian Rowing School, specifically the youth team. This means that as the level of psychological preparation increases within the institution, the athletes' performance also improves. Conversely, a decrease in psychological preparation correlates with a decrease in performance among these rowers, highlighting a strong relationship.

2024-07-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Wisdom Journal For Studies & Research https://uojawjournals.education/index.php/jwrs/article/view/319 The impact of physical activity on the mental and physical health of overweight children 2024-06-22T12:45:44+00:00 فاطيمة شركون cherkoune.fatima@univ-oran2.dz
Obesity has become a modern epedemic, with recent studies showing a frightening increase in childhood obesity. Also, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned and encouraged exercises through many verses and hadiths. The researcher shows there are two types of sports other than previously mentioned sports, namely archery and swimming. In this paper, both of these types choice; based on hadith of The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh): (teaching your sons archery and swimming), he didn't limited directing the Muslims to archery and swimming but he obligated to teaching sons archery and swimming. The purpose of teaching throwing is because of its importance in the life of the nation and because it distinguishes the practitioner among his peers in determining his goal and achieving it with great accuracy. As for the purpose of swimming, it is because of its importance in completing learning the sport and forming a strong society, as it activates and moves all the body’s organs during its practice. The directive of Islam and the Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) regarding the importance of exercise is not specified in the previous era only, but rather this directive continues throughout the ages. This philosophy can be applied to sports in general, considering sports as a system of physical effort that reflects multiple philosophical values and principles, and embodies the philosophy of life and human interaction in societies. Levinas's idea of human justice can be applied to the field of sports by emphasizing the importance of compassion and providing equal opportunities to everyone without discrimination, and by promoting teamwork through cooperation and solidarity among players, reaffirming Levinas's concept of caring for and empathizing with the other. Additionally, he emphasizes the importance of ethical responsibility towards others, respecting opponents, rules, and referees, making sports a platform for teaching patience and resilience in line with Levinas's vision of an individual's ability to bear responsibilities and challenges with a positive spirit. The history of baseball in the United States dates back to the nineteenth century. However, historians disagree about the origin of the game and its true history in general. Baseball was initially given different names: it was called city ball or town ball, it was called round ball, and it was called baseball. The game began with men who loved to play the game as a hobby or entertainment in their free time, then it turned with time to the professional level and many clubs were established to hold matches between professional teams. In the sports field, stimulating sports motivation urges the athlete to exert the effort and energy necessary to learn and train sports skills with the aim of mastering them. Motivation in the sports field is defined as the athlete’s willingness to exert effort in order to achieve a specific goal, and considering that an individual’s behavior does not result from a single motive, it is often the result of several overlapping and multiple motives. The motives associated with sports activity are characterized by their multiplicity due to the multiplicity of types of sports activity and the multiplicity of goals that can be achieved. Achieved through exercise. Given the extreme importance of the concept of motivation, we decided to address it as a psychological determinant in the sports field through this research paper.
2024-07-15T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Wisdom Journal For Studies & Research https://uojawjournals.education/index.php/jwrs/article/view/384 sports as a means of prevention from life diseases 2024-08-08T14:56:32+00:00 Maroua Mammeri maroua.mammeri.etu@univ-mosta.dz
Our daily lives are becoming less physically active, the average energy consumption increases, creating a surplus in it.
