Abstract

School sport in any country in the world is the main engine of progress in the field of sport and can be one of the most important pillars of the sports movement. It is mainly aimed at school-age children, who are working to put their first steps on the road to becoming a renowned sportsman both locally and internationally and can contribute to the formation of school teams and well represent their country in international and regional competitions.

Thus, this article seeks to identify the school sports of a sample of secondary school students and their relationship to social peace, by presenting the results of a field study conducted in the wilaya of Sétif, and for this purpose the descriptive analytical method based on the measurement of the impact of sport on social peace of the Sudanese researcher Ahmed Adam Ahmed Mohamed, adapted by the researcher to the Algerian environment, and a statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS social science statistical software.

The results indicate that school sport plays an active role in achieving social peace and that there are no statistically significant differences in the contribution of school sport to social peace due to the gender variable in the sample studied.
