Abstract

This systematic review evaluates the effectiveness of sports interventions in managing Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adolescents. Following PRISMA guidelines, eight high-quality studies were analyzed, covering activities such as team sports, aerobic exercises, and yoga. The findings reveal that physical activity significantly reduces ADHD symptoms, enhances cognitive functions, and supports the development of social skills. Additionally, regular exercise contributes to reduced anxiety and improved overall well-being. However, the variability in interventions and the lack of long-term follow-up present challenges. Future research with standardized intervention protocols is recommended to optimize these approaches for ADHD treatment.
