Abstract

This research is one of the researches which Related to contrastive linguistic, this science, which is based on a practical procedure for comparing the systems of two or more languages.

To limit the similarities and differences between them, and that depends on an analysis of each of the two systems under comparison based on the descriptive rather than the historical method. Provided that the two languages were not from the same family.

It is possible to conduct contrast studies at different language levels. Including the phonological level, the grammatical level, the morphological level, the semantic level, and the cultural level.

We can say that the contrastive analysis does not compare a language to a language, but rather compares a level to a level or system to a system or family to a family, it is important that the contrast take place on one form of the linguistic description.

Based on that the goal of the research was predicting the difficulties that learners will face when learning the Kazakh language, or vice versa; that is coming after identifying the similarities and differences between the student's mother tongue and the desired language, especially the phonemic level.

Which is the first building block in the teaching of any language, and the basis of all linguistic levels, it builds upon it what follows from phonological, grammatical or semantic analyzes.
