Abstract

Abstract: The central role of the state as a unit of analysis in political phenomena has significantly contributed to the widespread interest in teaching political science and international relations across the world. The prominent position of the United States and Europe in the world today is evidence of the optimal utilization of scientific curricula and theories related to state affairs, reflecting their increased focus on developing research fields in this discipline. This has allowed for the use of speculative studies and rigorous analysis to pre-determine outcomes of domestic and international state issues, leading to the diversification and enhanced competitiveness of this field within the scientific community. In contrast, despite being taught in their universities and research centers, third world countries show a lack of scholarly and elite production in this field, contributing to the weak interpretation of political phenomena surrounding state entities in the third world, such as state fragility and the crises they face. Similarly, we will explore the Algerian government's interest in teaching political science and its branches, the extent of its development in research centres and universities, and its contribution to supporting the work of state institutions.
