Pause in Arabic "Phonology Approach"

Abstract

Through this study, we aim to identify the concept of the pause phenomenon of the ancient Arab grammarians and morphologists , and to identify its types, furthermore to its morpho-phonological approach based on the applying of the autosegmental phonology, the optimal method to attract all its prosodic features, and surround them in a way that ensures its containment and draw its boundaries with the rest of the tonal phenomenon, and the emergence of its impact potentials on word structure in Arabic language.
