Abstract

      The aesthetic of the semiotic performance in postmodern formation is multi-interpretation, as far as the performance relates to the influences of the (postmodern) plastic arts movements - such as the environment, culture, space, time, etc. Including the statement of the research problem by answering the following question; (How does the semiotic performance represent the formation of postmodernism?). And its importance and need for it, and its goal, which was manifested in (recognizing the semiotic performance in the formation of postmodernism), with time limits (1982-2003), and spatial borders that included (the United States of America, Australia), and defining the most important terms contained in it. As for the second chapter, it included two sections: the first concerned me with studying (performance semiotics - a conceptual approach), and the second concerned with (performance semiotics in postmodern arts).

       As for the third chapter, it dealt with the research procedures, as it included the research community consisting of (15) work, and the selection of models from the sample by the intentional method, which amounted to (3) models, which were analyzed according to the descriptive method.

       While the fourth chapter included the results of the research as well as the conclusions, recommendations and proposals. The research concluded with the most important sources, and a summary of the research in English.
