Abstract

releases prisoners with scars and tattoos are required to find a social status and to define their position in society. through this, we ask how released prisoners get rid of the social stigma after leaving prison if we consider that society rejects them. between recognizing them as normal individuals who committed crimes for which the were punished and served their prison sentences and were release again, and their continued conviction after release, how do released prisoners reverse the roles and transform prison into an inevitable environement for achieving belonging and social status and considering society as a large prison and a trasmit station until returning to prison again.
