Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to investigate the use of intelligence measures by school and vocational guidance counselors. A sample of 120 counselors participated in the study, which utilized an open questionnaire with three main questions. The study found that 97% of the counselors do not use intelligence measures in the counseling process. The study highlights the need for practical solutions to address this educational phenomenon, particularly in the education and higher education sectors, as well as the Research Institute in Education. Further research is needed to better understand the reasons for the low use of intelligence measures in counseling.
