Abstract

The current study aims to know the relationship between cheating in exams and future anxiety among university students, and to reach the gender differences (males/ females) with regard to the exam cheating variable, as well as studying the differences between the sexes (males/ females) regarding future anxiety. The study was conducted on a sample of 65 university students of both sexes from the bachelor’s level (first year, second year, third year), which was chosen randomly. The university student prepared by the two researchers.The statistical package for the humanities and social sciences (SPSS) has been relied upon, which includes several statistical methods (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, T.test) were used to process the data.

So that the following results were obtained :

  • There is no statistically significant relationship between cheating in exams and future anxiety among university students.
  • There are statistically significant differences between university students regarding cheating in exams, which are attributed to the gender variable.
  • There are no statistically significant differences between university students regarding future anxiety, which are attributed to the gender variable.
